The Atlantic is a seven floor hotel overlooking the North Sea and surrounded by sand dunes, seven kilometres from The Hague's centre. The hotel's 152 spacious, modern guestrooms have boldly coloured interiors extending to furnished balconies; all offer satellite television, direct dial phones, minibars and coffee/tea makers.
Guests can be pampered at the hotel's beauty centre, which specialises in beauty treatments and offers massages too. An indoor heated pool and sauna offer further opportunity for relaxation, and guests can take refreshing strolls along the dunes and beach surrounding the hotel. The Hotel's Restaurant Nautilus offers an a la carte menu and floor to ceiling windows with views of the dunes and breaking waves. Tourists will find the nearest bus stop right next to the hotel, while attractions such as Madurodam, Holland's smallest city, is a miniature town set in pretty gardens, offering replicas of typically Dutch buildings and landmarks. Boulevard Scheveningen, the Omniversum Space Theatre and Planetarium, Omniversum Domed Cinema and the Scheveningen Sea Life Centre are also five kilometres away. The Peace Palace, main train station, Hague's city centre and Parliament are all within seven kilometres of the hotel. Rotterdam Airport is 28 kilometres and a 30 minute drive away.

Bus no.33 operates to/from Rotterdam Central Station (journey time 20 minutes). The airport bus station is located in front of the terminal building. There is a taxi rank located in front of Arrivals. From the Airport there is a direct train (2 3 per hour) to The Hague central station. From The Hague central there is a direct bus (no. 24 towards Kijkduin) to the Hotel. The Atlantic Hotel is at the end of the bus trip (20 minutes from the central station). The most effective way around The Hague is on foot or by bicycle. The city also offers an extensive bus and tram network. Parking can be hard to find, so driving is not ideal, and taxis tend to be expensive.
